The latest version of the Newgrounds Player (Version 1.0.7) seems to work fine for a lot of people.
Another way to play flash games here is to use Ruffle, some games will automatically use Ruffle (based on your account settings). You can also force Ruffle emulation by adding this at the end of the URL of the game you are playing:
"/format/flash?emulate=flash"
